JANSU is a form of water therapy where you are gently floated on and through the water. As you float and move through the water, there is a sense of peace and rebirth. Due to the bodies weightlessness while floating, it is easy for the body to unwind and let go.
WATSU (water shiatsu) & Water Dancing (when you are moved under the water) are also two other forms of water therapies that help you connect and let go to your body’s healing.
I have found that this is also a great time to incorporate craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage.
These therapies are done in warm water, best in water around body temperature, and with a nose clip so that you can fully let go and relax into the water.
Moving in water is immensely profound. Even if floating in water may seem a little scary, many with a similar fear have found the experience very healing, and has allowed them to reconnect with water safely.
